Bad spray pattern or low spray volume

Applies to:

FGI manual and compression sprayers (HDX 190804/190805, and others).

What causes this:

The spray pattern is uneven or the volume is low. This is almost always a clogged nozzle or a clogged dip-tube filter inside the tank.

• A clogged nozzle
• A clogged dip-tube filter

How to fix it:

1. Remove the nozzle from the wand.
2. Inspect the nozzle for clogs or buildup and clean as needed.
3. Remove and inspect the dip-tube filter inside the tank.
4. Clean the dip-tube filter thoroughly.
5. Re-pressurize the tank by pumping the handle.
6. Reassemble and test the spray pattern.
