Sprayer will not build pressure or pump at all

Applies to:

Compression and backpack sprayers built by The Fountainhead Group.

What causes this:

• A dry pump cylinder or piston
• A cracked or seized piston
• A pump tube that is not fully seated

How to fix it:

1. Apply petroleum jelly to the piston seal and try pumping again.
2. Confirm the pump tube is fully seated and not cracked.
3. If the pump still will not engage, the piston cup likely needs replacement.
4. Install a pump repair kit for your model and test before filling.
